Hacking the Deck/ Basement Enhancement Project, Design and Drafted by Vik Lai

In this project, a Suntuf roofing will be added on top a ready-built decking for better waterproofing the basement entrance. In the process, the loading of the roof was researched. The rise and run of the rafter and spacing of the spans following guidelines of the manufacturing manual.
